In a lust-cocoon
submerged,
wrapped, spun
and afloat
in the deep
dark colors
around your pupils
Until it all got too heavy
I took a deep breath
closed my eyes
and sunk to the bottom
holding my dream stones
tight in my palms
Silent serenity
and wordless magic
brought
metamorphosis
to my lips
and I can now
Navigate rivers
I thought I’d only wonder about
Paddling lying on
my glossy wings
smudged and kissed
with blue-green,
purple and yellow
pucker-prints
to lands with white sand,
roses and doves

Great start and great ending. I like the pace of this. One reads, pauses, reflects and goes on..
changling
mysterious and even erotic. a nice read, thanks.
Many lovely lines here.
Perhaps we all coccoon ourselves too much. Imagination is wonderful, but to experience our dreams is magical
I really like this, 'lust-cocoon' is a brilliant phrase!
Great imagery with a hint of sensuality.

Wow! Dream stones, this is where my imagination takes off!
you capture an amazing set of sensual images here, and the whole poem puts you in the center of metaphors and surreal scenes. it's nice how you surfaced, transformed, and ready to take on the world!
a sensual and transforming poem.
